Indian Recipe - Samosas are one of the most famous stuffed snacks in India. Samosas are national passion you can find them anywhere you go, the combination of samosa with masala chai is irresistible.

Cook time: 45 min
Total time: 1 hour
Ingredients Required:
1. Two cups all-purpose flour
2. Two tblsp oil
3. A pinch of salt
1. One tblsp oil
2. Half cup finely chopped onions
3. One cup boil, peeled and mash potatoes
4. One cup boiled green peas
5. One cup grated paneer
6. Two tblsp roughly chopped cashew nuts
7. Two tblsp raisin
8. Half tsp green chili powder
9. Half tsp ginger paste
10. One tblsp sugar
11. Two tsp lemon juice
12. Salt to taste
13. Two tbsp. chopped coriander
1. Oil for deep frying
2. Chutney of your choice
1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and sauté till they turn translucent
2. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the coriander, and mix well.
3. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on a slow flame.
4. Remove from the flame, add the coriander and mix well.
5. Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and keep aside.
1. Combine the flour, oil and salt in a bowl and knead firm dough using enough water.
2. Cover dough and keep aside for 30 min.
3. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each portion into an oval. Keep aside.
1. Divide each samosa covering oval into 2 halves.
2. Make a cone from each part and stuff it with 1 portion of the filling.
3. Seal the edges carefully using a little water.
4. Repeat with the remaining oval halves and filling to make 11 more samosas.
5. Heat the oil in a skillet and deep-fry the samosas on a slow flame till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
