How to make soft and firm Paneer at home? My family loves paneer so I prefer to give them healthy and hygienic homemade soft paneer .
Paneer can be made by both methods first on stovetop healthy method for making paneer and another one is microwave oven which is fast method to make paneer. It’s your own wish how you want to make paneer. I prefer to make on stovetop because of healthy reason, I came to known from articles that microwave heating is not very healthy.
Here some Tips for making soft and firm paneer:
1. Making of paneer depend on quality of Milk you used, prefer to use full cream milk or cow milk. Paneer comes out to be good when making from cow’s milk.
2. Add 1 or ½ tsp of curd in milk while curdling milk. Curd helps to makes the paneer soft.
3. Don’t remove the cream if it is floating over milk in excess because natural cream of milk makes paneer softer.
4. Never over curdle the milk as you will get a hard paneer after it is set. Once the entire milk is curdled and you see the whey completely separated, and then remove the pan from the heat. Don’t cook it more.
5. Paneer should always be added after completing recipe and don’t cook it for more than ½ or 1 minute otherwise paneer will become rubbery and hard.
6. You can also fry Paneer in oil and then add it into recipe. Fry it until it become light brown.
Now you get your softest paneer. Lovely :)
