Chilli Chicken Recipe

Chilli Chicken is a mouth-watering Indo - Chinese chicken recipe; here fried chicken is cooked in the combination of Indian vegetables. It’s a tangy and spicy chicken recipe and a good starter for non-veg lovers.

Preparation time: 10 min.
Cook time: 35 min.
Total time: 45 min.

Ingredients Required:

1. Boneless chicken 350 gm.
2. One egg slightly beaten
3. One cup corn flour
4. Half tsp garlic paste 
5. Half tsp ginger paste
6. Salt according to taste
7. Oil for deep frying
8. Two cup onion, thickly sliced
9.  Two tsp green chilies, thickly sliced
10. One tbsp. soya sauce
11. Two tbsp. vinegar
12. Green chilies, slit, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Mix together chicken, egg, corn flour, garlic and ginger paste, 2 tblsp salt and and water so that chicken get coated with batter.
2. Leave coated chicken for 30 minutes.
3. Heat oil in wok and deep fry the chicken on medium flame so that chicken can cook through, take it out on absorbent paper.
4. In a same wok take out extra oil and let 2 tblsp oil in it.
5. Add onion in it and stir fry till become translucent, add green chillies and stir few min.
6. Add remaining salt, soya sauce, vinegar and deep fried chicken.
7. Mix well and serve garnish with green chillies.
