Besan Ke Ladoo Recipe

Gram flour or besan roasted with ghee in a skillet, flavoured with sugar and cardamom and shaped into tight round balls. Decorated with almonds and pistachios. Besan ke ladoo is an Indian dessert usually made during festive times.

Preparation time: 10 min.

Total time: 1 hour 10 min.


Ingredients Required:

1. Two cup gram flour
2. Half cup ghee
3. Three – fourth cup powdered sugar
4. Half tsp powdered green cardamom
5. Few almonds and cashew nuts for garnish


Instructions:

1. In a skillet, melt ghee and add gram flour stir over medium flame. It get 30 min to cook through and it will get pasty look.
2. The colour of paste should be light brown if u have done with it let paste be cool completely. 
3. When it cool down add powdered sugar and cardamom to it by your plam against the base of the bowl. 
4. Rub till mix thoroughly.
5. Shape it into tight hard balls press hard at every stage and press light longer at last, so that surface become smooth.
6. Decorate ladoos with almonds and cashew nuts.
