Vegetable Chowmein Recipe

A complete meal! A perfect combination of all nutrients contributed by the vegetables and starch from the noodles. The Chowmein brings out all the authentic flavors of Chinese cooking.

Preparation time: 5 min.
Cook time: 25 min.
Total time: 30 min.

Ingredients Required:

1. Fresh noodles 400gm.
2. Water five cups
3. One tsp salt
4. One tblsp oil for noodles
5. Seven tblsp oil
6. Two tsp garlic paste
7. One tsp chilli powder
8. One cup cooked thinly sliced vegetables
9. One large onion thinly sliced
10. One tsp soya sauce
11. One tsp salt
12. Two tblsp chopped celery
13. Two tblsp vinegar 
14. One tsp chilli sauce

Instructions:

1. Bring water and salt in a pot to boil, add noodles – just blanch if fresh and cook longer if dry.
2. After boil drain immediately and risen with cool water.
3. Add one tblsp oil in noodles toss carefully by this they wouldn’t stick with each other and keep them aside.
4. Heat the rest of the oil and stir fry garlic mixture and onion till onion become glossy.
5. Add vegetables and stir to mix well. 
6. Add soya sauce, salt, celery, vinegar and chilli sauce mix well and the noodles stir fry till well mix do this all on high flame.
7. Serve hot.
