1. One cup white sugar
2. One cup shortening
3. One cup honey
4. Two eggs
5. One tsp vanilla extract
6. One tsp baking soda
7. Four cup all – purpose flour
8. One tsp ground ginger
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan over a low heat, melt together sugar, shortening and honey. Let cool.
2. Mix together egg, vanilla, baking soda and ginger. Gradually add to cooled honey mixture.
3. Slowly add 4 cups flour to mixture. Stir until well blended. Drop teaspoonful onto cookies sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake 350 degree F until golden.
