Eggplant With Garlic Sauce Recipe

Total time:  25 mins.

Ingredients Required:

1. Three tblsp canola oil
2. Four Chinese eggplant halve lengthwise and cut into one inch and half moons
 3. One cup water
4. One tblsp crushed red pepper flakes
5. Three tblsp garlic powder
6. Five tsp white sugar
7. One tsp cornstarch
8. Two tblsp light soya sauce
9. Two tblsp oyster sauce

Instruction:

1. Heat canola oil in a skillet over high heat.
2. Cook and stir the eggplant until soft about 4-5 minutes.
3. Stir in water red pepper flakes and garlic powder, cover and simmer until water is absorbed.
4. Meanwhile mix sugar, cornstarch, and soya, oyster sauce in a bowl until sugar and cornstarch have dissolved. Stir sauce into eggplant, making sure to evenly coat eggplant. Cook until the sauce has thickened.
