Get an easy Thai recipe of Grilled Prawns which gives the flavor
of Thailand. Grilled Prawns is just a delicious appetizer. These are very hot
firecrackers from the orient.

Ingredients Required:
1. One – fourth minced lemon grass (white part only)
2. One – fourth minced fresh ginger
3. Two tblsp minced garlic
4. One – fourth chopped fresh cilantro
5. One Thai or serrano chile pepper, minced
6. Three – fourth cup peanut or canola oil.
7. Two pound extra-large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail
left on
8. One – fourth cup lime juice
9. One – fourth cup rice wine vinegar
10. Half cup mirin
11. Two tblsp dark soya sauce
12. Two tblsp cold water
13. Three tblsp grated lime zet
14. One tblsp minced fresh ginger root
15. Two tsp fish sauce
16. Two fresh Thai or serrano Chile, seeds remove
17. Two tblsp minced garlic
18. Half cup smooth unsalted peanut butter
19. One – fourth cup peanut oil
20. Two tblsp chopped fresh mint
21. One tblsp chopped fresh cilantro
22. One – fourth cup unsalted roasted, peanut, chopped
23. Kosher salt to taste
Instruction:
1. In a large bowl take lemon grass, one – fourth cup
ginger, garlic, cilantro, one minced Chile, three – fourth cup peanut oil in a
large bowl. Add the shrimp, and toss and coat. Let it be marinating at room
temperature for 20 – 30 minutes.
2. Preheat grill at medium – high heat
3. Meanwhile, pour lime juice, rice vinegar, mirin, soy
sauce and water into a bowl of a blender or food processor.
4. Add the lime zest, one tblsp ginger, fish sauce, 2 Chile
pepper, garlic and peanut butter; process until smooth. While processing,
slowly pour in the peanut oil; process until smooth and creamy.
5. Pour into bowl, stir in mint, cilantro and chopped peanuts;
season it with salt.
6. Remove shrimp from marinade and remove if in excess.
Grill on pre heated grill pink and firm, about 2 minutes each side.
Your Thai Cuisine Grilled Prawns is ready to serve with a Spicy
Peanut Lime Vinaigrette.
